Broxus to End Everscale Infrastructure Support on September 29
After more than six years of involvement with Everscale, Broxus will discontinue its remaining infrastructure support on September 29, 2026. The decision follows two years of operating the network without commercial returns and unsuccessful efforts to secure a sustainable model and new funding.
Belgrade, Serbia
Broxus will discontinue its remaining Everscale infrastructure and services on September 29, 2026.
Broxus has been involved with Everscale since the launch of FreeTON in 2020 — developing its DeFi ecosystem, building more than 50 products, tools and libraries, contributing to the underlying technology, participating in validation, and maintaining core network infrastructure.
For more than two years, Broxus has effectively operated and funded a significant part of this infrastructure without generating commercial returns from the network.
Earlier this year, responsibility for Everscale’s further development was transferred to a partner group with the expectation that the project would establish a sustainable commercial model and secure additional financing. Despite these efforts, Everscale has not found sufficient product-market fit, and the required funding has not been raised.
Broxus can no longer continue covering the operating costs of the network.
Shutdown on September 29
Broxus will therefore stop operating its remaining Everscale infrastructure, including:
- Broxus validator nodes;
- FlatQube;
- Everscale-related Octus Bridge infrastructure;
- Broxus-operated RPC and GraphQL endpoints;
- EVER Wallet support;
- EVER Scan support;
- and all other applicable services.
Users with assets in FlatQube, Octus Bridge or other affected services should withdraw or migrate them before September 29, 2026. Use the Everscale-Avalanche direction for withdrawals.
After the shutdown, Broxus does not plan to maintain these services or provide additional operational or asset-recovery support.
Broxus is announcing the shutdown in advance to give users time to move their assets and to allow the Everscale community, validators and current project stakeholders to determine how the network will operate going forward.
We thank the Everscale community for their efforts and support through all these years and wish the project to find its place in this turbulent market.
